Wishing versus Believing (and why it matters)
It is true that where we are in life is directly related to what we believe about both ourselves and the world around us.
Many people want better lives, more money and happier relationships but deep down in their heart they don’t believe they deserve it or that they can achieve it. And the contrast between where we are and where we wish we were can seem like proof that the law of attraction doesn’t work. But the wanting only attracts more inadequacy into our lives. If our thoughts are that we don't have enough, that we need more - that's exactly what we will attract. Not enough. Needing more.
Instead, if we are grateful for all the abundance in our lives, the money, the love and the endless opportunities, and believe that our dreams can be manifested, then we will attract abundance and success into our lives.
If you struggle with negative self-talk, practice daily affirmations to push out these thoughts and re-train your mind. Affirmations are particularly useful because our conscious and subconscious brains are not bothered by who said what. If you start the morning being grateful for all the money that flows your way, and for your abundant energy and vitality, if you consciously thank the universe for your beautiful life, your subconscious mind hears it too. It believes you. It’s not confused by your wishing for more or wondering when good things will come, it hears your confidence and assurance that your life is abundant in all good things and it aligns itself with this.
The Law of Attraction works every time - but it is up to us to be clear and consistent about what we are attracting.
